Maria is a London-based Producer and visual storyteller. Having started her career as a videographer in Argentina while finishing her studies in Visual Arts and Film, she moved to the UK at the age of 22 to pursue her creative career. Starting as an assistant in the art department for Films and Commercials, she was fascinated by the transformation of an empty, sterile space into a vibrant, lively world filled with endless possibilities; as well as the small details that are carefully fixed to bring a story alive. After two years working with the art team, she has moved around to different roles such as Stand-by Art Director, Buyer, Prop Master, Set Decorator, and Graphic Artist, always curious to explore every aspect of the visual concept of a story. Currently working for a Set-design and Build Production Company, The Looney Studio, and focusing on production coordination and project management, Maria has expanded her skills by working directly with clients worldwide and managing projects under tight deadlines. Always ready to embrace a challenge and learn how to problem solve. Dedicated to pursuing life-affirming art practices, Maria continues to question herself and her practice bringing her vision, creativity and dedication to every project.
